There is culpability, even if the Borja are running your actions in your avatar against your will. You allowed them to take it over to start with.
People don't want to hear that, I sure didn't. But the one thing I heard the most during my education, on a constant, constant basis, is how we are responsible for our own situation, regardless if it was imposed on us or not.
I had a very close friend when I was 21 who had just gotten out of prison for firebombing a competing disco to his. This was one of the most brilliant, charismatic, gifted and extraordinary guys you could ever meet. He had a solution to every challenge, thought outside the box and basically moved mountains daily. His life could have been a rocket sled on wheels.
He didn't throw the bomb, but someone in his group did without his knowledge. They were all busted, went to prison, ruined their records for life, even though they were operating a legitimate business, not selling drugs or running a cartel.
Was he guilty? Absolutely. The friends you keep dictate the life you will project in front of you. There is nothing more important in life than only allowing those of high character into your inner circle. If you find yourself in a room of deviants, uneducated, impulsive people, leave that room that very instant.
Which is exactly what George Dunford, blue-blood of the Massey-Ferguson tractor fortune who took me under his wing when I was first married, and taught me about the other side of the tracks where only the El-ites play. "If you ever find you are the smartest person in a room, leave." You ALWAYS want to become better, smarter & savvier with every minute you spend around others. No time to waste on self-defeatists.
We allow our need for validation to push us into situations we would have never been in had it not been for those influences that go counter to our own instincts through the desperate need to fit in or feel like we are accepted.
The ones who find their way out of this prison are those who are strong enough to stand alone. They don't sell out for ill-gotten gain and they don't compromise their own inner compass, not for love or money. If you don't measure up to my standards, you will never speak to my face personally, as that is the most sacred of spaces in my world. Took me many years to really grasp what the keeper was trying to say when explaining how the safe house I just restored was now sacred ground and I wasn't allowed inside.
It meant that was the holy of holies because the keeper and crew who lived there held themselves to a standard few would ever imagine possible. Thus, that space was, indeed, sacred. Not because anyone there is better than you, but because those who were there insisted on rising above petty 3rd dimensional drivel.
Only you can make your space hallowed ground.
Is that acting like you're better than they are? No. It is acting like you can be better than whatever the wind blows along. Like a seminar I attended when I was still a teen said, given by 'Ralph' (Donny Most) of Happy Days, which was at the time the number series on TV;
If You Don't Know Where You're Going, You'll Probably End Up Somewhere Else.
You have to have a plan for your life if you intend to do something with it that isn't just another miserably failed story. It is that integrity, sticking to your guns in every situation, that the 4th dimension is looking for. Not the also-ran masses who simply follow the crowd.
If you're looking to ascend to the next level of awareness, you will prove during this life you're willing to make hard sacrifices to maintain trajectory. Before anyone became possessed by the Borja, they always had some tell. A head's up they were entering foolish, cavalier territory. The stories about how Ouija boards are opening up portals to demons, worshipping spirits & taking drugs lead to very bad places. But they do it anyway.
So while there is karma you won't have to pay for while you were taken over, there is still karma you will have to atone for. How much? I don't know. But whether you're in prison for something you didn't do, get eaten by a bear in the woods, or end up in a devastating car crash that you want to ascribe to having been 100% outside of your control to avoid and you're just a victim of bad luck, will always, always be, your fault for not having taken the necessary precautions to avoid those very possibilities.
No one ever ruined anyone else's life in the history of creation. We always ruin our own. Then we start over and get another chance to avoid it next time. The victim card doesn't play in any hand with the keeper. If you're suffering, you did that to yourself.
